In January-August, Solnechniy district of Khabarovsk region increased tin output by 12.5% YoY.

The increase is due to the growth of ore processing by 24%. Moreover, tin-rich ore was processed with average metal content of 63%.

In Soviet time, the district yielded 4 thousand tons of tin and 8 thousand tons of copper concentrate. Last year, it produced 2.3 thousand tons of tin. There is an intention to gradually return to the Soviet output.

The tin deposit is developed by Tin Ore Company, which is also building a mining and processing works there.

At the same time, extraction of other metals in Khabarovsk region decreased: gold – by 3.5%, to 16 tons. Silver output totaled 19 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
