In September, Ukraine decreased pig iron export by 7.5% YoY, to 245.1 thousand tons valued at $73.5 million, down by 13%.
According to the Customs Statistics, in January-September, Ukraine exported 2.3 million tons of pig iron valued at $655.5 million, up by 25.2% and by 10.7% YoY respectively.
In Q3, pig iron exports grew by 29.8%, to 824.8 thousand tons valued at $233.2 million, up by 15.8%.
USA was the main customer with the share of 55.75%. It was followed by China (22.9%) and Turkey (7.87%). (Ukrainian metal)
