Russia’s gold output rose by 3.8% YoY, to 81.27 tons in January-April, the Finance Ministry said quoting supplies to the refining plants.

Mined gold output rose by 7.1%, to 65.87 tons, while by-product gold output decreased by 6.7%, to 5.6 tons, with gold scrap production down by 8.9%, to 9.8 tons.

Russia’s silver output decreased by 5.5%, to 286.69 tons in the period. Primary silver production went up by 0.2%, to 133.87 tons, and by-product silver output by 4.3%, to 108.41 tons, while production of silver scrap went down by 32.6%, to 44.41 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
