Interpipe presented a new INTREPID series solution – INTREPID-SP HT.
Semi-premium threaded connection with high torque performance successfully cleared all necessary validation phases at an independent testing facility. Its optimized geometry enhances structural stability during casing running operations.
Interpipe has a long history of engineering premium and semi-premium steel threaded connections for seamless pipes developed for harsh environments. This modification was engineered specifically to meet the rigorous demands of the oil and gas sector, tailored for horizontal drilling and shale applications.
INTREPID-SP HT is fully interchangeable with standard API Buttress threads, eliminating the need for additional accessories or crossovers during running operations. The performance of the thread was validated by replicating real-world operating conditions using the universally recognized Shale Test Protocol.
