Employees of two shops have started a strike at the Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, situated in Lugansk region, a part of which is occupied by Russia-backed separatists.

The strike began due to wage arrears.

In particular, the blast furnace and the railroad shops went on a strike.

Wives of the employees intend to strike at the Alchevsk city “administration” and at the “administration of the Lugansk People’s Republic” chairman Leonid Pasechnik. (Ukrainian metal)
