On March 1, 2017, the occupational authorities of the self-proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, terrorist organizations created and supported by Russia, decided to transfer all the companies on the territory controlled by them to the so-called external management.
As a result, Donetsk Iron and Steel Works (DMZ), Donetskstal Iron and Steel Works, parts of Donetskstal Group, Yenakiyevo Iron and Steel Works (EMZ) and its subsidiary Makeyevka Iron and Steel Works (MMZ) owned by Metinvest, as well as Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works (AMK), a part of the Industrial Union of Donbass corporation, became subsidiaries of Vneshtorgservice (VTS), registered in the unrecognized republic of South Osetia.
Now AMK is named subsidiary No. 12 of Vneshtorgservice AMK. (Ukrainian Metal)
