Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works has suspended operation, as Russians have forcedly mobilized almost all employees.
“Alchevsk has almost run out of men. Those who have been found have been mobilized. Even if they were secured from mobilization. One of the best metal enterprises of Ukraine – Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works – has suspended manufacture. Because there is no one to work,” the head of the Lugansk Regional Military Administration Sergey Guyduy reports.
The same happened at the Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works.
Guyduy noted that even though there was no one who could work, there were people who “voted” – the armed occupiers continued the pseudoreferendum.
“On the front line an Alchevsk citizen is either taken captive or already dead, but will “vote” anyway. Maybe the vote will be taken telepathically,” he said jokingly. (Ukrainian metal)
