Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, situated in the part of Lugansk region occupied by pro-Russian terrorists, has ceased manufacturing coke due to the lack of raw materials.
At the same time, even if raw materials arrive, the manufacture is unlikely to be relaunched, as there is also a shortage of locomotives and not enough personnel.
The staff shortage is so catastrophic, that employees from the shop No. 3 are transferred to the shop No. 2. The shop No. 3 has been idle since March 2020. (Ukrainian metal)
