The physical volume of deals with gold on the Moscow Exchange fell by about 60% YoY, to 11.64 tons in January-September, the exchange said in a statement.

Deals with silver more than doubled to 7.334 tons.

In monetary terms, gold and silver deals amounted to 29.6 billion rubles, down from 76.1 billion rubles in the same period in 2018.

In September the total amount of deals was 1.9 billion rubles. In real terms, gold deals amounted to 0.6 tons and silver ones to 0.4 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
