Gold-extracting companies can obtain a right to receive general license to export gold and silver ingots instead of one-time licenses.
The amendments to the legislations have been prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The ministry believes the current system is slowing the exports down.
Unlike general licenses, one-time ones are seriously limited: they are issued for a specific foreign contract only, while the general licenses are issued only to the banks that have a central bank permit to operate with the precious metals. (Ukrainian metal)
