Lipetskcement, a part of Eurocement Group, has started supplying CEM I 42.5 H cement to NLMK to make briquettes of the blast furnace manufacture waste.
The technique allows receiving raw materials of secondary products resulting from the manufacture of pig iron and coke, by replacing iron ore and coal raw materials.
Supply volumes are estimated at 25 thousand tons. The contract is valid until the end of the year.
Annual capacity of the NLMK line is 700 thousand tons of briquettes. (Ukrainian metal)
