Severstal has concluded an agreement with Ust-Kamenogorsk Technical Machinery Works (Kazakhstan) on the delivery of an electric filter for the dust-exhausting system in the Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works sinter manufacture.

The new equipment has been developed to fit the size of the old electric filter.

Investments in the project amount to 100 million rubles.

This will be the second filter to be repaired, with the first commissioned in June 2018.

The new filter is expected to be put into operation by the end of the year.

In 2012-2015, 5 dust-exhausting systems in the CherMK sinter manufacture were modernized. The total cost of the projects exceeded 800 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
