Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works has put into operation an electric bridge crane valued at some 60 million rubles.
The new crane with the capacity of 35/15 tons will be used to transport bulky rolls weighing up to 30 tons in the metal coating shop No. 1.
The crane-replacement program started in 2016 in order to improve manufacturing efficiency and labor safety.
In three years 15 cranes of various lifting capacity have been produced, with 9 manufactured last year.
In 2018 investments in the program totaled 500 million rubles.
This year CherMK will put into operation 8 more cranes. (Ukrainian metal)
