Russia’s gold refining rose by 1.65% YoY, to 231.65 tons in January-September, the Finance Ministry said, citing gold supplies to refining plants data.

Mined gold output rose by 3.44%, to 194.86 tons, while by-product gold output decreased by 12.83%, to 11.69 tons, and gold scrap production fell by 3.79%, to 25.10 tons.

Russia’s silver output increased by 1.73%, to 801.81 tons in January-September. Primary silver production rose by 1.15%, to 368.88 tons, while by-product silver output decreased by 0.61%, to 240.15 tons, and production of silver scrap went up by 6.02%, to 181.84 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
