ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has purchased 4 new BelAZ trucks with the lifting capacity of 136 tons, two sprinkler machines and a bulldozer all valued at 162.5 million UAH.

The dump trucks will be used at the construction of the Stepnoy-2 dumpsite.

The large-scale replenishing of the fleet is due to the increase of ore mining and concentrate output. In 2017 the company produced 9.1 million tons of concentrate, while next year it plans to reach 10 million tons.

In 2016-2017 AMKR purchased 22 machines valued at $24 million, having replaced almost half of its dump truck fleet.

In 2019-2023 the company intends to buy 8 more BelAZ trucks. (Ukrainian metal)
