Gold output of Magadan region increased by 14.98% YoY, to 29.722 tons in January-September, a representative of the regional government’s natural resources department reported.
Ore gold output rose by 34.96%, to 14.235 tons, and alluvial gold production increased by 1.2%, to 15.488 tons.
Silver output fell by 7.04%, to 538.313 tons in the period.
Magadan region’s gold output rose by 18.23%, to 32.951 tons in 2017.
In 2018 gold production in the region is projected at 37.1 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
