A set of hi-tech measures allowed Zaporizhstal considerably decreasing the terms of ecological reconstruction of the blast furnace No. 3 – from 2 years to 8 months.
According to the company capital construction and investments director Alexei Lebedev, BIM-technologies helped unite 15 thousand two-dimensional drawings, remove over 11 thousand errors at the design stage and control the whole process of the reconstruction.
Investments in the project totaled 1.9 billion UAH.
Since 2012 Zaporizhstal has spent 9 billion UAH on ecological modernization. (Ukrainian metal)
