Severstal has started another stage of the coke-oven plant No. 4 construction at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works – the drying and heating of the new machine.
The total cost of the investment project is some 6 billion rubles. One of the advantages of the new coke-oven plant is the considerable decrease of environment impact.
The drying and heating will last for 3 months.
The first coke will be produced by the end of the year. (Ukrainian metal)
