In May the most efficient rolling mill at MMK – the 2000 hot-rolling mill – set a record of monthly output – 527.5 thousand tons.
This is the maximum monthly output since the mill’s commissioning in 1994. The previous record was set on January 2015 – 526.2 thousand tons.
The 2000-mill is one of the most powerful in Russia. It operates in the sheet-rolling shop No. 10.
In mid-2000 it was reconstructed, and its capacity increased to 6 million tons per year.
The width of the sheet produced at the mill ranges from 760 to 1830 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
