Russia: ferrous scrap exports to Belarus down in May 2018

In May Russia exported 98.6 thousand tons of ferrous scrap to Belarus via railroad, down by 16.5% both MoM and YoY.

In April the results were +4.6% and -16%, and in March +27.8% and +26.4% respectively.

Ukraine: coal imports up in January-May 2018

Russia: KMZ ferromanganese output and sales up in May 2018

In May Kosaya Gora Iron and Steel Works was producing ferromanganese in two blast furnaces.

The output totaled 13 thousand tons. The growth allowed replenishing stocks and increasing sales.
