As of the end of 2017 Ukraine has lost its 10th place among the leading world manufacturers of steel, according to World steel.
Last year Ukraine produced 22.7 million tons of steel, down by 6.4% YoY.
The global steel output last year totaled 1.675 billion tons, up by 5.5%.
China remained the global leader with 831.7 million tons of steel, up by 5.7%. (Ukrainian metal)
