Interpipe could be hit with the antidumping duty of 34.22% when supplying seamless wheels to the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Department of protection of the inner market has calculated the duty for Interpipe when selling wheels in 2016 on the level of 34.22%. The decision on the duty imposition should be taken in a month and a half.

Interpipe accounts for 99% of EAEU wheel imports.

The investigation was conducted at the request of Vyksa Iron and Steel Works (850 thousand wheels per year) and NTMK (550 thousand wheels). In 2013-2016 they accounted for 97% of wheels output in EAEU. They claim was submitted in December 2016, and they insist on raising the duty for Interpipe from 4.75% to 51%. (Ukrainian metal)
