In January-June KAZ Minerals produced 118 thousand tons of copper, more than doubling the previous results (56 thousand tons). In Q2 the group produced 66 thousand tons of copper, with 52 thousand tons produced in Q1.
In H1 the group mined 34.4 million tons of ore, up by 56% YoY. Ore processing increased 3.8-fold, and by 37% QoQ in Q2.
This year KAZ Minerals plans to produce 225-260 thousand tons of copper.
In April-June zinc concentrate output increased by 8% QoQ, to 16.8 thousand tons. In H1 the group produced 32.3 thousand tons of zinc concentrate, down by 18% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
