Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant has started making the foundation for 2 additional series of electrolysis baths.

The assembly of the first equipment should end by 2018.

Two new batches of baths (40 baths each) will be assembled under the investment project to increase the copper cathode output.

In 2017-2018 KMEZ intends to equip the copper electrolysis shop and copper wire rod shop with new machinery. Investments in the former will total 380 million rubles, in the latter – 288 million rubles. The modernization will increase copper wire rod output by 40% and copper cathodes by 15%.
