Severstal has signed year-long contracts with the leading car manufacturers from Russia and CIS to supply metal in 2017.
According to the company statement, it will supply 70 thousand tons of metal, produced at the Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works, to KamAZ.
Severstal also agreed on deliveries to GAZ.
The company has been also supplying the Cherepovets metal to GM Uzbekistan for Ravon manufacture, as well as to Volkswagen Group Rus. In 2016 Severstal was the main supplier of metal to the German car manufacturer. (Ukrainian metal)
