Severstal has taken part in the XXI international construction exhibition UzBuild-2020 in Uzbekistan, which has attracted some 400 companies from 25 countries.
The group has been present on the Uzbek market since 1965. Now Severstal supplies over 150 thousand tons of rolled metal and metal wares to construction and automobile industry customers in the country.
UzAuto Motors is one of the long-time partners of Severstal.
At the exhibition the group presented samples of new rolled metal types with coating specifically developed for the manufacture of roofing and sandwich-panels.
Until 2023 Severstal is forecasting a 3-fold increase in sales in Uzbekistan. (Ukrainian metal)
