In 2017 Koks-Mining enterprises intend to increase coal output by 23%, to 2.7 million tons from 2.2 million tons in 2015.

According to the company CEO Victor Shevtsov, output could grow even more – to 2.9-3 million tons, as this spring the company plans to greatly increase its mining capacities by putting into operation the mine named after Tikhov (project capacity – 2.8 million tons) and the second stage of Butovskaya mine.

As Shevtsov says, by late 2017 Tikhov mine will be able to produce 400-500 thousand tons of coal, with output growing to 1 million tons in 2018. The mine will reach its full capacity in 2021.

The construction of the mine lasted for 7 years, and the investments totaled 9 billion rubles.

The second stage of Butovskaya mine will double its capacities to 1.8 million tons per year. This project saw the investments in the amount of 6 billion rubles.

In 2017 Koks-Mining investments will grow from 800 million rubles last year to 840 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
