Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel, has finished the scheduled capital repairs of its quality and stainless steel producing complex.
The repairs cost around 20 million rubles.
All the three mills of the complex were repaired. The main mill – the continuous cast machine No. 2 – saw the largest volume of repairs.
The quality and stainless steel producing complex at ChMK was put in operation in 2010. Investments in the project totaled 3.6 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
