In 2016 the Tuapse Sea Trade Port transshipped 14.1 thousand tons of cargo, down by 4% YoY.
According to the port press service, ferrous metals transshipment increased by 8.1% YoY, to 2.25 million tons.
A slight decrease in slab exports (by 2.3%) was compensated for by the new cargo for the Tuapse port, in particular 185 thousand tons of steel billets and 18.8 thousand tons of rolled wire, as well as the considerable increase in coiled steel shipments – by 61.8% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
