In January-November 2016 Russia exported 39.32 million tons of ferrous metal, up by 3.2% YoY.

According to the Federal Customs Service, far foreign countries accounted for 34.405 million tons of exports, up by 5%.

Pig iron exports decreased by 1.2% YoY, to 4.663 million tons, of steel semi-finished products – went up by 4.1%, to 13.711 million tons.

In monetary terms ferrous exports dropped by 10.2% YoY, to $12.623 billion, with pig iron down by 18.1%, to $1.043 billion, and semis – by 6.9%, to $3.972 billion.
