On August 16, the Customs Service of Taiwan imposed the preliminary antidumping duties on the imports of hot-rolled sheet originating from Ukraine, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Korea.
The 8.66-80.5% duty will come into effect on August 22, for 4 months.
For Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, Metinvest and other Ukrainian manufacturers the single duty of 26.57% will be used.
All the Brazilian suppliers will receive the 31.1% duty, SAIL and other Indian companies – 25.85%, PT Gunawan and other Indonesian companies – 46.84%.
POSCO earned an 8.66% duty, Hundai Steel – 25.87%, all other Korean manufacturers – 80.5%. Duties for Chinese suppliers are in the range of 40.29-59.73%. (Ukrainian metal)
