In July Russia’s gold bar production decreased by 15.5% YoY but rose by 3.4% MoM, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Wednesday.
Platinum production decreased by 13.2% YoY and rose by 2.4% MoM. Palladium output fell by 5.8% YoY and increased by 1.1% MoM. Gold-bearing ore and concentrate production went down by 3% YoY and contracted 0.5% MoM.
Uncut diamond output went down by 6.1% YoY and increased by 10.2% MoM.
In January-July gold bar production fell 9% YoY. Palladium production rose by 7.2% and output of platinum rose by 4.8%. Gold-bearing ore and concentrate production increased by 0.9%. Uncut diamond output fell by 1%, all YoY.
In 2015 gold bar production decreased by 3.1% YoY. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
