The interdepartmental committee on international trade has decided to prolong antidumping duties of 15.21% for five more years.

The decision was taken on April 12 and came into effect on April 17.

The antidumping investigation against imports of rebars and rolled wire from Russia was launched on February 23, 2023 at the initiative of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.

The prolongation of the duty corresponds to the national interests of Ukraine.

It is strange though, that with the Russian full-scale invasion in its third year, Ukraine still introduces import duties instead of suspending imports from the aggressor country altogether. (Ukrainian metal)
