Ukraine: iron ore concentrate output up in April 2015

In January-March Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works (PGOK and EGOK, both in Poltava region), controlled by Ferrexpo plc (UK), produced 2.88 million tons of pellets, up by 2.46%, or by 69 thousand tons, YoY.
In January-February the major exporter of iron ore pellets in the CIS countries was Poltava Mining And Processing Works (PGOK, controlled by Ferrexpo). The company exported 1.81 million tons of pellets to Europe, Near East, Japan and China.
In February Ukraine produced 5944 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, down by 10.1%, or by 668 thousand tons, MoM.
In January Ferrexpo plc, controlling Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works (PGOK and EGOK), increased its pellets output by 2.5%, to 1.01 million tons, YoY. At the same time concentrate production went down by 4.5%, to 1.143 million tons.
In 2014 Ukraine produced 82129 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, down by 2%, or by 1685 thousand tons, YoY.
In November Ukraine produced 7017 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, up by 0.2%, or by 13 thousand tons, MoM.
