In January-March Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works (PGOK and EGOK, both in Poltava region), controlled by Ferrexpo plc (UK), produced 2.88 million tons of pellets, up by 2.46%, or by 69 thousand tons, YoY.
In the first quarter of 2015 the companies produced 433.4 thousand tons of pellets made of 62% iron content ore and 2451.9 thousand tons of pellets of 65% ore.
Ferrexpo increased production of pellets made of its own raw materials by 0.3%, to 2723.23 thousand tons, while those made of supplied raw materials – by 59%, to 162.07 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
