In January-February the major exporter of iron ore pellets in the CIS countries was Poltava Mining And Processing Works (PGOK, controlled by Ferrexpo). The company exported 1.81 million tons of pellets to Europe, Near East, Japan and China.
Severniy GOK exported 958 thousand tons of pellets, with Central GOK (both owned by Metinvest) exporting 397 thousand tons.
At the same time GOK iron ore pellets output was as follows: PGOK – 1.87 million tons, SevGOK – 1.33 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
