In 2014 Ukraine produced 82129 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, down by 2%, or by 1685 thousand tons, YoY.
In December 2014 iron ore and iron ore concentrate output decreased by 11.9%, or by 836 thousand tons, to 6181 thousand tons, MoM. In particular, iron ore output in December 2014 fell by 2.4%, or by 30 thousand tons, to 1239 thousand tons, while that of iron ore concentrate – by 14%, or by 806 thousand tons, to 4942 thousand tons.
Sinter output in December 2014 increased by 2.9%, or by 79 thousand tons, to 2818 thousand tons, and that of pellets – decreased by 2.5%, or by 43 thousand tons, to 1675 thousand tons, all MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
