Russia: metal deliveries to traders down in September 2018

In September the delivery (including imports) of steel products (rolled metal and pipes) to the warehouses of the major trading companies and networks totaled 0.85 million tons.

According to the railroad statistics, this is down by 14.3% YoY.

In January-September deliveries reached 8.04 million tons, down by 2.5% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)

In June-August steel deliveries to major metal traders totaled 2.71 million tons.

According to railroad statistics, this is up by 6.1% YoY.

In August direct deliveries of rolled metal to companies manufacturing ferroconcrete structures and to integrated house-building factories totaled 13.5 thousand tons.

According to the railroad statistics, this is down by 29.7% YoY.

Russia: metal deliveries to metal wares manufacturers down in August 2018

In August direct railroad deliveries of metal to major service metal centers specializing in metal wares manufacture (light metal structures, metal roofing, profiled sheeting, etc.) totaled 186.3 thousand tons.

According to the railroad statistics, this is down by 11.8% YoY.

In July railroad deliveries of metal to the major oil and gas enterprises totaled 298 thousand tons, down by 22% YoY.

In January-July deliveries dropped by 10.7% YoY, to 2.5 million tons.

In July direct deliveries of ferrous metals to railroad machine-building companies totaled 132.2 thousand tons.

According to the railroad statistics, this is up by 52.4% YoY.

In July ferroconcrete structures and housing constructing plants purchased 12.9 thousand tons of rolled metal.

According to the railroad statistics, deliveries fell by 30.7% YoY.

In July direct deliveries of rolled metal to the major service metal centers, which produce construction metal wares, totaled 207.6 thousand tons.

According to railroad statistics, that’s 4.1% below the corresponding last year result.
