Ferrostar will start constructing the plant to produce directly reduced iron at its site in the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone in the first half of the year.
In particular, the construction is expected to begin in June.
Investments in the project will amount to 2.24 billion rubles.
The plant will be commissioned in December 2021, and in February 2022 it will reach its design capacity of 151 thousand tons of DRI per year.
