In January-June, the rolled metal market volume amounted to 2.131 million tons, up from 2.021 million tons in H1 2019.
The share of import decreased from 32.7% to 24.9%.
Thus, while the market volume increased by 5.5% YoY, the share of import fell by 7.8%.
CIS was the largest supplier with the share of 39.2%, followed by EU-28 (25.9%) and Asia (17.7%).
In 6 months, Ukraine produced 9.03 million tons of rolled metal, down by 4.7%, with 7.43 million tons exported, or 82.3%. In H1 2019, the share of exports was 85.6% (8.11 million tons out of 9.47 million tons). (Ukrainian metal)
