Ukraine: pipe output down in January-February 2015

In January major Ukrainian pipe companies decreased their output of ferrous pipes by 10.1%, to 78.3 thousand tons, YoY. In December 2014 pipe output was 94.3 thousand tons, in November 2014 – 102.3 thousand tons.
A rise in hot metal output in Q4 2014 caused an increase in merchant pig iron production of 114,000 tons QoQ.
