In January-April major Ukrainian pipe companies produced 477 thousand tons of ferrous pipes, down by 16.1% YoY.

April saw pipe output on the level of 140.6 thousand tons, up by 3.6% MoM.

Khartsyzsk Pipe Works decreased its pipe output from 79.3 thousand tons in January-April 2013 to 61.4 thousand tons this year. In March and April the company increased its output to 15.7 thousand tons and 36.3 thousand tons correspondingly, while in January-February it produced only 9.4 thousand tons.

Interpipe NPZ, Interpipe NMTZ and Interpipe Niko Tube all dropped production from 130.4 thousand tons to 110.6 thousand tons, from 77.3 to 60.8 and from 140.9 thousand tons to 135 thousand tons respectively.

Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works decreased its pipe output from 19 thousand tons to 17.1 thousand tons. Kominmet dropped production from 74.5 thousand tons to 62.4 thousand tons, AG Stahl Ltd – from 10 to 7.1 thousand tons, while Centravis increased its stainless pipes output from 6.7 to 7.4 thousand tons.
