Russia: Rotek starts assembling transformer substation at Kekura gold deposits

Rotek has started assembling the transformation substation at the Kekura gold deposits in Chukotka Autonomous District ahead of schedule.

The commissioning of the power machinery is scheduled for late 2018.

The transformer substation will be providing the gold-extracting enterprise with electricity for 30 years.

Russia: Aleksandrovskaya-1 gold output to increase in 2018

The miners team Aleksandrovskaya-1 LLC, which extracts alluvial gold in Amur region, has already obtained 60 kg of gold this year.

The company is operating at two deposits – Djalon and Djuvaskit.

In January-May Kazakhstan produced 36621 kg of raw and semi-raw gold (powder), up by 7.2% YoY.

According to the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of national economy, silver output, on the other hand, dropped by 7.7%, to 410532 kg. (Ukrainian metal)
