During a working visit to the Tashkent region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the operations of Infinity Copper Group, located in the Akhangaran district, which specialized in the production of copper pipes and fittings.
The project is implemented on a 10-hectare site in partnership with companies from China and Germany, with a total investment of $36 million. Construction and installation works are 90% complete, and $14.9 million of investments have already been utilized.
In 2025, Uzbekistan imported copper pipes and fittings worth approximately $15 million. After reaching full production capacity, the enterprise is expected to produce import-substituting products valued at $10 million, create 300 new jobs, generate 200 billion sums in budget revenues, and establish an export potential of $350 million.
Exports are planned to the United Arab Emirates, Africa, the United States, and European countries.
Infinity Copper Group is already a leading producer of copper pipes and fittings in Uzbekistan, operating across four production sites.
President Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of further expanding production in this sector, increasing the share of high value-added industrial products, and developing modern competitive capacities.
It was noted that expanding such enterprises would ensure full satisfaction of domestic market needs and further strengthen Uzbekistan’s export potential. (UzDaily)
