In 2023, Ukraine sold 228.35 billion UAH worth of metal products, including 98 billion UAH of exports.
According, to the State Statistics Service, in 2022, the volume was 240.96 billion UAH and exports – 33.36 billion UAH.
In particular, last year Ukraine sold 160.49 billion UAH worth of pig iron, steel and ferroalloys, including 71.82 billion UAH of exports, 34.68 billion UAH worth of pipes, hollow sections and fittings of steel, 16.72 billion UAH worth of other primary processed steel products (4.19 billion UAH of exports), 13.09 billion UAH worth of precious and non-ferrous metals (2.84 billion UAH) and 3.44 billion UAH worth of castings.
Last year, Ukraine also sold metal wares valued at 83.83 billion UAH, with 12.99 billion UAH exported. In 2022, the sales amounted to 50.36 billion UAH, including 12.62 billion UAH of exports.
Sales of metal structures totaled 14.4 billion UAH (2.3 billion UAH exported) and tanks, reservoirs and containers – 3.23 billion UAH (746 million UAH). Metal processing and coating is estimated at 8.78 billion UAH (765 million UAH). (Ukrainian metal)
