In September, Ukraine exported 125.89 thousand tons of pig iron, up 4.3-fold MoM. Revenue grew 5.3-fold, to $49.7 million.
According to the State Customs Service, compared with September 2022 exports dropped by 37% and by 33.7% respectively.
In January-September, Ukraine exported 1.06 million tons of pig iron valued at $405.96 million, down by 1.6% and by 26.2% YoY respectively.
The main customer was Poland with the share of 56.9%. The share of Spain was 22% and USA – 6.5%. Before the full-scale Russian invasion USA consumed more than a half of Ukrainian pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
