In January-September, DTEK Energo commissioned 18 new coalfaces and until the end of the year planned to commission 9 more.
Until the end of the year, the miners will work in enhanced mode.
According to the DTEK Energo CEO Ildar Saleyev, the coming heating season will be another challenge for the heat generating industry and the whole Ukrainian energy system.
“For Ukrainians to have light and heating, we have been preparing actively and for a long time. Our investments in coalmining will increase 2-fold this year, to over 7 billion UAH. This will provide Ukrainian heating plants with enough fuel,” he added. (Ukrainian metal)
