The State Property Fund says the information spread in media that the United Mining and Chemical Company ships titanium raw materials to Russia to produce planes and missiles during the war does not stand to reality.

“On August 7, one of Ukrainian media spread information that “Ukraine during the war supplies titanium raw materials to produce planes and missiles to Russia”, where it accused the state-owned UMCC in supplying raw materials to the aggressor country. This information does not stand to reality, it has no sources, and the journalists have not applied to the State Property Fund for comments,” the fund said.

SPF underlines that UMCC is not cooperating with the aggressor country and its products are not supplied either to Russia, or to Belarus.

Since autumn of 2022, the company has strengthened control over its exports and changed ways of cooperation with customers.

The company authorities closely cooperate with law-enforcing services providing all the information about supply chains and end customers. (Ukrainian metal)
