In January-March, Interpipe increased steel output by 13% YoY, to 184 thousand tons.
Pipes manufacture grew by 12%, to 105 thousand tons, while railroad products dropped by 13%, to 20 thousand tons.
Since the start of the year, the manufacture at all Interpipe enterprises has been seriously affected by harsh electricity limits. But in March, the situation improved.
At the same time, Interpipe sales continue decreasing, as the global market situation has started showing the signs of cooling. In particular, OCTG pipes sales decreased by 37% YoY and linear pipes – by 12%.
This resulted in the worsening of financial records. Thus, sales income decreased by 4%, to $229 million, while EBITDA grew 5.2-fold, to $79 million. (Ukrainian metal)
