In September, Ukraine increased exports of ferrous metal scrap to the European Union 5-fold MoM.
While in August Ukraine exported 1 thousand tons of scrap in trial mode, in September exporters launched stable supplies to Poland, Slovakia and Lithuania, with combined deliveries at 5 thousand tons.
Scrap is exported via two customs posts in Rovno and Lutsk. They issue so-called Euro-1 certificate allowing not paying the export duty of 180 euro per ton.
All the scrap was delivered not to customers, that is metal plants, but to traders. (Ukrainian metal)
